This is not a trick question. The British supermodel and the American President have, however, adopted a similar approach to dressing.

Remember that post from last week (or maybe you don’t) about the President admitting he only wore navy or grey suits? Well, according to the December Vanity Fair – bizarrely out now – Ms Moss also has decided to only wear black or grey jeans when she goes out (during the day, of course). Admittedly, their reasons are slightly different: the president has adopted his strategy because it cuts down on his daily decision-making pressure, and Ms Moss because the paparazzi find it boring and are more likely to leave her alone. But the net effect is the same.

When two people at the tops of their relative but very different games come to the same sartorial conclusion, I think it’s worth noting.
