Sir, Your front-page story (February 24) quotes Stuart Gulliver’s desire to hide his massive remuneration from his staff. His attitude shows that he cannot justify his remuneration even to his team and is one further indication that senior bank employees still do not grasp society’s justifiable anger at their greed and manipulation.

The time for change has come. I sold my HSBC shares after the reporting of its activities in Switzerland.
