Heineken has won control of Asia Pacific Breweries, the maker of Tiger beer, after a complex two-month battle with Thailand’s biggest brewer, ThaiBev.

APB had been run by Heineken and Fraser and Neave since 1931 through an equally held joint venture company and was one of the few remaining brewing businesses available in Asia.
