The FT holds its Seasonal Appeal 2012 Photography Auction in aid of The Global Fund for Children at Shakespeare’s Globe, London SE1, on Thursday. All proceeds will go to The Global Fund for Children, helping to transform the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children. The auction includes prints by Slim Aarons, a Chris Smith signed limited edition “Ali versus the Beatles 1976”, Stuart Franklin’s signed “Tiananmen Square, The Tank Man”, and a selection of sports photographs, including the picture above, taken by the FT’s Charlie Bibby at this summer’s London Olympics.
