Massive open online courses – or Moocs – are web-based classes that offer students self-paced learning in their subject of choice. Some of the newly-listed free courses on this page include:

Although Moocs are non-degree programmes, the content of many of these courses is often similar to that of a university-level programme. Some Mooc platforms, including Coursera and edX, partner with top universities to offer courses.
