Zimbabwe coalition talks stalled

Negotiations between Zimbabwe’s main political parties stalled over the allocation of Cabinet portfolios, a spokesman for the Movement for Democratic Change, said on Thursday.

”The talks weren’t conclusive, and deadlocked so details have been sent back to the negotiators in the hope of finding a common position,’’ Nelson Chamisa told Reuters in a telephone interview today from Harare, the capital.
