Airbus has told airlines waiting for first deliveries of the A380 superjumbo that there will be yet more delays, as the European aircraft maker faces renewed difficulties in bringing the world’s biggest commercial jet into series production.

EADS, Airbus’s parent company, said on Tuesday it had not yet been able to estimate the financial impact.
