Sep 10: A clear exit

Central bank watching ain't what it used to be. The poring over of Alan Greenspan's careful cryptic terminology or the counting of Jean-Claude Trichet's mentions of vigilance are long gone. Out of necessity, central banks are now far more blunt. Jennifer Hughes, senior markets correspondent, examines this and wonders whether the much discussed exit strategy from the current monetary stimulus will include a return to an absence of clarity.
