This is going to require real focus and hard work, because we cannot return to a hard border between North and South-- it would be a disaster for the agreement and for the relationship between the Republic and the UK, and therefore for the people of Northern Ireland. So look, this is an issue-- as I say, we're just going to have to work at it and overcome it. I wish it wasn't happening, but it is, and we should do our best to circumvent it.
This Brexit thing can burn you badly if it's done wrong, or if special consideration is not taken, or the economic decisions made under your leadership at the time. What was meant to make the Northern Ireland economy work should be preserved. So somehow or another, surely it'll be possible for the party to have a common position on the economic interests which affects everybody without regard to their political party, if they live in Northern Ireland. The rest of it you will have to figure out.
