Fund management

US retirees and emerging markets

Curtis Arledge, chief executive of BNY Mellon’s asset and wealth management businesses, says as a wave of investors hit retirement age, emerging markets, with their need for capital, could prove a good fit. He cautions on political risk and advises emphasising countries with better governance systems, such as Brazil. Tom Stabile is Associate Editor of FundFire, an FT publication.
