Jun 15: China PM's labour comments 'significant'

Richard McGregor, the former Beijing bureau chief at the FT, says comments from the Chinese premier Wen Jiabao about workers and their contribution to China are significant because they show the issue is being acknowledged at the very top. Jiabao's comments come after a series of outbreaks of labour unrest at foreign-owned factories, including Honda, in southern China.
