Henrique Meirelles: Transport bottlenecks a priority

Part 2, July 8: Brazil needs major investment to tackle bottlenecks in roads, railways and ports, says Henrique Meirelles, Brazil's central bank president. He tells Jonathan Wheatley, the FT's Brazil correspondent, that the current account deficit has grown as domestic demand has outstripped supply. He admits that productive capacity has yet to catch up despite rapidly growing investment.
