Mervyn King, governor of the Bank of England, on Tuesday warned the government against presenting a second fiscal stimulus in next month's Budget with a dramatic intervention urging caution. Chris Giles, economics editor, talks to Daniel Garrahan about whether Mr King's comments will affect Gordon Brown's attempts at the G20 summit in London next week to call for a new fiscal response to the global financial crisis.
