Greggs hungry for international market

Greggs, the UK's biggest baker, has been serving up low-cost cakes and sandwiches for more than 60 years. Its shop fronts are now synonymous with the country's high streets. Ken McMeikan, chief executive, says that in spite of growing competition from supermarkets, the recession, rising food prices and even recent rioting, he is confident about the company's expansion strategy, which has more than just the UK high street in mind.
