Part 3, June 27: The BBC is investigating ways for viewers to get online video to their tv screens in a development of the current i-Player. In this third section of his interview with the FT, director general Mark Thompson sets out the BBC's thoughts on developing an alliance with other broadcasters to get video from computer screens to television screens. Finally he plays Long/Short with the FT's US managing editor, Chrystia Freeland.
