Nope. I cannot put this into words. I cannot believe these numbers right now. But I do know that every single person here has worked their butt off to change the future of the Bronx and Queens.
It was really grassroots organising. We knocked on doors that had never been knocked on before. We knew that if we talked to people that had never been engaged or invited to the electorate, that you know maybe they would show up. Only usually 3% of people turn out in New York primaries. And all of a sudden it's like the world has changed.
