UK wrap platforms boost iShares ETF assets

David Bower, iShares head of marketing, Emea, on on how assets derived from wrap platforms, services that allow investors to buy investments online, jumped over 100% last year. He says fund supermarkets have lagged because they have not enabled their platforms to deliver ETFs. While core products, such as the S&P 500 remain most popular, the JPMorgan dollar emerging market appeared last year for the first time as a well-used product.
