Sterling is up, but it is still down - and deserves to be both. The UK currency has risen 4.3 per cent on the Bank of England’s trade weighted index since the beginning of March. It’s hardly a full recovery from the slide that accompanied the financial crisis. Sterling is still 23 per cent below its decade high, hit in January 2007.
