The president has announced that green card holders from those countries will be allowed in. This controversial order on Friday resulted in a weekend of protests and legal challenges in the US and mounting hostility around the world.
The European Union's digital chief has warned Facebook and other social media companies to take a stronger stance against fake news or face action from Brussels. Andrus Ansip said online platforms risked losing trust unless they took greater responsibility for content. Facebook has been under growing pressure to act after fake news stories went viral during last year's US presidential elections.
And Volkswagen has overtaken Toyota to become the world's largest car maker by sales. That's despite the scandal over its diesel emissions testing. VW sold 10.3 million vehicles in 2016, compared to Toyota's 10.2 million. The Japanese company is facing challenges in the US after President Trump criticised its investment in Mexico.
