Oct 6: Truck sales down by half

Part 3: HÃ¥kan Samuelsson, chief executive of MAN, the German truck and engineering group, says truck sales are down by half and that his company will have to wait longer than in previous business cycles for a recovery. He blames recent renewals of truck fleets and higher lending costs. He says to increase growth he plans half of turnover will come from emerging markets within four years.
