Kay Review could have been tougher

James Featherby, chair of the Church of England Ethical Investment Advisory Group and author of 'Of Markets and Men', thinks the Kay Review, in focusing on shortcomings in the asset management industry, fails to address the real issues affecting financial markets. He says reform, which cannot happen overnight, should start with individual investors who must learn what creates lasting value. Mr Featherby is a former partner with the law firm Slaughter and May.
