It was expected that Europe's regulation of over the counter (OTC) derivatives would diverge from the Dodd-Frank law in in the US. Not so fast. Scott Fitzpatrick, client relations director at inter-dealer broker GFI, says there are actually some key aspects where the two sides were coming together.
