Lex: Snow

It has been said, not quite accurately, that Eskimos have 56 words for snow. The hundreds of thousands of passengers who had their travel plans disrupted days before Christmas along the US East Coast and in western Europe probably had a few choice, though unprintable, words for it too. Both joyous and dreaded, beautiful and deadly, we have a love-hate relationship with snow. Depending on one's point of view, it also can be an economic boon or burden.
