May 28: Indonesia has decided to end its membership of the oil producers' cartel, Opec. It's a decision with more symbolism than significance, says the FT's chief energy correspondent, Carola Hoyos. Indonesia has become a net importer of oil in recent years and membership of Opec was becoming a conflicting interest as Indonesia now needs lower prices, not higher, she tells Richard Edgar.
