Oct 30: WPP revenue growth slows
The recent downturn in the advertising and communications industry in the US and UK has taken its toll on WPP. A slowdown in the UK-based group's overall revenue growth in the third quarter added weight to warnings earlier this week from three international advertising groups about a tough fourth quarter and fears for a difficult 2009. Tim Bradshaw, digital media correspondent, talks to Daniel Garrahan about the outlook for 2009 and whether emerging markets will come to WPP's rescue.
