This came after Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused Dutch ministers of behaving like Nazis for refusing entry to his Foreign Minister.
Singapore has banned former Goldman Sachs banker Tim Leissner from its securities industry for 10 years. This is over breaches related to Malaysian state investment fund 1MDB. The band concerns an unauthorised reference letter vouching for a Malaysian businessman alleged by US authorities to have laundered funds diverted from 1MDB.
And the US oil prices dipped below $48 a barrel for the first time in more than three months despite OPEC efforts to curb crude output.
