A North Korean diplomat and an employee of the country's state-owned airline have been identified as suspects in the murder of Kim Jong-Nam, the brother of the country's leader. Malaysian police say both are still in Malaysia and are being sought for questioning. The North Korean embassy has demanded that Kim's body be handed over. The Malaysian authorities will only release it to the next of kin, and police say no Kim family member has come forward.
The US has issued sweeping new rules for border security and deportations. Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly has ordered officials to plan the construction of a Mexican border wall and to increase the number of immigration agents, border control officers, and immigration judges. And Dutch MPs have narrowly passed a bill allowing the cultivation of cannabis. It removes a legal grey area that left coffee shops able to sell the drug but unable to supply themselves without fear of prosecution.
