Signs of global economic recovery have lessened demand for traditional havens such as UK gilts and US Treasuries. John Beck, co-director of international bonds at Franklin Templeton, explains to capital markets editor Ralph Atkins how the new havens are the up-and-coming bonds of mid-investment grade status.
