Investing in wine

Jose Luis Jimenez, head of March Gestion, thinks traditional wine funds are too risky due to liquidity problems and difficulties gaining realistic valuation of the bottles of wine that underly the investment. Instead, he tells FTfm's Emma Boyde, March Gestion's wine fund invests in stocks across the wine value chain, from fertilizer producers, to bottle suppliers and wine distributors.
