France's far-right party leader, Marine Le Pen, has promised to crack down on foreigners and the forces of globalisation if she wins the presidency. Le Pen launched her campaign in front of a 3,000-strong crowd in Leon on Sunday. She pledged to pull the country out of the euro, tax foreign workers, impose trade barriers, and stop what she calls "uncontrolled immigration."
And some of Britain's biggest companies say they're already suffering from Brexit. That's according to a new Ipsos MORI survey of senior executives. 58% of executives said the vote to leave the European Union was having a negative effect on their businesses despite a stream of positive economic data.
