Having kick-started “post-dubstep” with their debut album’s glitchy beats and introverted basslines, London duo Mount Kimbie move into post-post-dubstep mode on the follow-up, which is to say anything goes.

Percussive workouts rub shoulders with tense nocturnal balladry; washed-out ambient instrumentals share space with jazzy post-rock. The variations keep the album ticking over but at the cost of focus.
