Suit by Tom Ford
Tom makes my favourite suits for business. They’re very well made, fit me comfortably and elegantly and make me feel solid. Despite living in Miami, I do tend to wear dark solid suits for business but usually not with a white shirt. I like garments that are stylish but a tad unusual, so as not to be too formal.

Duncan makes great shirts and suits. I like to sometimes have a bit more colour, although I try not to make too much of a statement. I try to meet the protocol of whatever I’m doing; I don’t try to rebel with my clothing. Generally, I don’t wear anything that screams its label.

Tie by Tom Ford
I generally like Tom’s ties, or those by Duncan Quinn, but to jazz things up I’ll go for Hermès. I’ve evolved over time and at the moment I like thicker ties. A bit of pattern, albeit subdued, is nice but I look for a rich colour in the red or purple families.

Shoes by Prada
Prada makes really great men’s shoes for work, although I’ve also branched out to Berluti, Louis Vuitton and Christian Louboutin. For ease and comfort, I go with slip-ons but I gravitate toward lace-ups for their formality, mainly in shades of grey and black. But, for day-to-day, stylish trainers are my preference.

Watch by Cartier
I don’t often wear a watch but this Calibre de Cartier Chronograph is my favourite. There’s something very elegant about it and it feels solid on the wrist. In general, I like a larger dial, which feels more contemporary. I also have a penchant for vintage timepieces. What I don’t like are new watches designed to look vintage. A classy watch is a sign of potential connoisseurship, and to me that’s real power.

Glasses by Maison Bonnet
My good friend Christian Louboutin recommended this shop in Paris. The nice thing I discovered about bespoke glasses is that they fit my face in an amazing way, which makes them all the more comfortable. Bonnet has been a family-run business for generations and is now my go-to for eyewear. I’ve been wearing this pair for a year or two now but I rotate it in with a few other pairs that I’ve picked up along the way.
