Jacket by Georgie Brand
I spend part of my time meeting with financial investors and my all-male board, and the rest of my time with designers and engineers who tend to dress in an eclectic way. This jacket – which I bought at Intermix in LA – allows me to transition easily between the two groups. It’s a modern take on a baseball jacket, with a round collar and chic black suede trim at the cuffs. I’m petite so a fitted “biker chic” jacket like this one works well with a formal blouse or a casual T-shirt.
Leather trousers by J Brand
I like to wear something slightly edgy – like these dark pants – with more tailored pieces and I love J Brand for the comfortable fit. These pants take me from meetings with VCs to launch parties at The Battery, and they look as good with a pair of Converse trainers as they do with strappy heels by Sigerson Morrison.
T-shirt by Gap
I love a high-low mix and often go to brands such as Lanvin for T-shirts that make a statement. One of my favourites is a cool, Middle Eastern-inspired, ethnic print shirt that has a deep V in the front, or I’ll just opt for a simple, plain white or grey marl tee like this one from Gap that looks modern when paired with a chunky necklace.
Necklace by Ranjana Khan
I like jewellery by designer by Ranjana Khan and one of my favourite pieces is a dramatic necklace comprised of many thin silver strands. It drapes beautifully and the ribbon closure gives it a modern feel. I’ll wear it with everything from a T-shirt to a fitted blouse and it just adds a pop of colour. I prefer jewellery that isn’t overtly feminine, but is edgy or even slightly understated.
Boots by Roberto del Carlo
I get most of my shoes at Neiman Marcus and Barneys and the overriding goal is always comfort. These boots are casual yet polished and because of their low stacked heel, I can be on my feet all day long.
