A finance professor at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business has been named the top finance scholar under the age of 40 by the American Finance Association.
Tobias Moskowitz has been awarded the 2007 Fischer Black prize for his “ingenious and careful use of newly available data to address fundamental questions in finance”.
Prof Moskowitz teaches empirical asset pricing and investments on the school’s MBA programme.
The biennial award was first made in 2003, again to a CGSB faculty member. No award was made in 2005.
