Singapore Management University has become the latest business school to join the Wharton club of online management research publishers - Knowledge@Wharton. Knowledge@SMU, as the new portal is called, brings together business insights and research from a number of sources, including faculty at SMU.
Knowledge@SMU is the first Asian academic partner site to join the Knowledge@Wharton network. The two other business school partners are Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and Arizona State University’s Carey School of Business, although Wharton itself has hosts four portals, dedicated to China, India and South America as well as the original English-language site.
Knowledge@SMU is looking for a group of companies to become sponsors of this online business journal.
Wharton has a long-standing relationship with SMU and was instrumental in helping the Singapore government set up the university as a primarily undergraduate business school. SMU, in the heart of Singapore, officially opened in 2000.
