Sir, US dollar banknotes are printed on cotton fibre paper and not a single tree had to be cut down to print US dollar bills. Thus, Charlie Sitzes (Letters, October 30) should have used the word “cotton” and not “trees” when he explained the intrinsic value of US dollars.
