Hanging up.

Dido Harding, chief executive officer at TalkTalk, says she has decided to step down after seven years “to focus more on activities in public service”. She will be replaced by Tristia Harrison, currently an MD at the telecoms company.

In a further rejig, non-executive chairman Charles Dunstone will become the executive chairman from May, having stepped down as the chairman of Dixons Carphone.

Last year, TalkTalk was slapped with a record £400,000 fine after a 2015 cyber attack that accessed the data of nearly 157,000 customers. That led Baroness Harding to donate her £220,000 bonus to charity.
