And now for the grand reveal.

In their first major legislative push since President Donald Trump took office in January, Republican legislators on Monday finally unveiled the text of a bill that is part of their effort to “repeal and replace” the Affordable Care Act, the healthcare law enacted under Mr Trump’s predecessor Barack Obama.

The text of the bill has been a closely guarded secret for the past few weeks, even among Republicans, who have made undoing all or part of the so-called Obamacare law a key platform ever since it was passed.

A House of Representatives committee has set a March 8 hearing to address the bill. Read all 66 pages of the full text – along with everyone else in Washington, DC – here.
