Aldgate tube station reopened on Monday and the Metropolitan line will return to full service during the day.

Stockwell tube station has reopened after a man was shot by police at the South London station on Friday.

Transport officials said they had largely managed to restore services on the Victoria and Northern Lines.

The Warren Street, Shepherd’s Bush and Oval stations have all re-opened after being closed on July 21.

The Hammersmith & City and Circle lines remained closed following the explosions on the July 7, while the Piccadilly Line continues to be suspended between Hyde Park Corner and Arnos Grove. There is no service on the District Line between High Street Kensington Station and Edgware Road Station in either direction.

TfL said it was doing everthing possible to restore services on the District, Metropolitan and Circle lines by August 2, if not before.

For real-time travel information go to the Transport for London website. Network Rail, which operates the mainline stations, said it was aiming to offer services from all lines stations as normal.
