UK prime minister Theresa May has confirmed the government will publish a white paper on its Brexit negotiating plan on Thursday.

The white paper was offered as a concession to MPs demanding more
oversight of the prime minister’s plans.

But Mrs May’s allies say she has already laid out her Brexit strategy
in a speech at Lancaster House last month.

One predicted last week that it would be largely a “cut and paste job”
of the speech with added charts and explanatory notes.
