Professor Sophie Manigart is full professor at Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School and at Ghent University (Belgium).
A specialist in entrepreneurial financing, her research interests include business angels, venture capital, management buy-outs, private equity and corporate finance.
Prof Manigart holds both a civil engineering degree and an MBA. She has been a visiting researcher at the Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania) and a guest professor at London Business School. Currently, she is visiting professor at IE Business School (Madrid).
