Visit Italy

55 delegates from 20 business schools across Europe are meeting at an Association of MBAs forum in Milan. MBA programme managers, alumni and development staff will discuss the challenges they face. There will also be interactive workshops, Q&A sessions and real-life case studies.

Be ethical

Iese Business School in Barcelona, Spain is holding an international symposium on ethics. Speakers include John Boatright, professor of business ethics and management in the Graduate School of Business at Loyola University of Chicago. Topics discussed will range from the ethical aspects of financial markets to teaching ethics in finance and accounting courses.

John Deighton is analysing the data ecosystem that exists to create and enhance markets in a talk at the University of Oxford Saïd Business School. He is the school’s L’Oréal visiting professor in marketing and the Harold M. Brierley professor of business administration at Harvard Business School.

Examine the future

The annual European School of Management and Technology forum is taking place in Berlin.This year’s topic will examine future scenarios related to business and the workforce, expectations with respect to transformative processes and the role that sustainability and technology will play in this context.

Visit Australia

Prime Minister Tony Abbott and Treasurer Joe Hockey are speaking at a conference hosted by Melbourne University Faculty of Business and Economics. Pathways to Growth is the theme of this year’s conference which will look to examine the challenges that Australia faces in the world economy.

Celebrate 50 years

Bradford University School of Management is inviting alumni in Lagos and Nigeria to a 50th anniversary celebratory event at the British Council in Lagos. The event will allow alumni of the school to reconnect with their alma mater and make new connections.
