SMU Cox School of Business in Dallas, Texas, has been given $1.4m (£800,000) by Bobby Lyle, an energy industry leader, alumnus and executive board member. The donation will be used to focus on entrepreneurship and leadership. Mr Lyle has also given the school $300,000 for the James Collins Executive Education Centre, which opened last year.
