From Mr Peter Breen.
Sir, Following Peter McTague’s “polite reminder to Vodafone” (Letters, August 31): I chair my firm’s Middle East operation and I am therefore in frequent contact over our weekend (the start of their week) from home and in the car.
I am regularly embarrassed by the inadequacy of mobile signal strength as I travel around the southeast, whereas in the Middle East mobile callers (by far the majority of phone users) never have such problems. (And don’t get me started on relative broadband reception...)
Come on, Vodafone – and the rest – finish the job you should have completed before you started taking our money or publicly admit you’re providing a shoddy service.
