The Soundway label has earned its name crate-digging through the riches of the African Golden Age; Ibibio Sound Machine are its first contemporary signing, Nigeria filtered through contemporary London.

The first single, “Let’s Dance”, has chattering keyboard lines and an impossibly low bass riff; elsewhere, the African influences are more apparent, notably in the chiming guitar patterns of “I’m Running”.
