Prices for land in Japan have fallen almost every year since 1990, with only a brief revival before the Lehman crisis. But now, says the FT's Ben McLannahan, the market seems to be on the turn, with a new nationwide survey suggesting that higher prices could start boosting Shinzo Abe's fight against deflation.
