Christian Homburg is a marketing professor and president of Mannheim Business School in Germany. His research activities include market-orientated management, marketing organisation, strategic marketing, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty.
He is a member of the editorial boards of six scientific journals in the United States and Germany. Prof Homburg also received several awards for his research from the American Marketing Association, the scientific association in marketing.
Previously, Prof Homburg was director of marketing, controlling and strategic planning for a global industrial company.
