The Diversity MBA Admissions Conference is taking place in California, connecting people who wish to pursue a degree in business with admissions directors at top-tier business schools. The conference allows participants to find out about the MBA admissions process and the relative strengths of the business school’s curriculum and student culture.

Elena Beleska-Spasova, professor at the John H Dunning Centre for International Business at Henley Business School, is running a workshop on the major trends and developments in the global economy and the opportunities created by the ‘new normal’.

The future of energy

Michigan Ross will hold its second annual Energy Futures Conference. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Transitioning to market models and implementation challenges, changing regulatory frameworks to support the utility of the future’. National experts will consider the current state of the energy sector.

Sven Burmester, an adjunct professor at Alexandria University in Egypt and Sichuan Reproductive Health Institute in Chengdu, China, is speaking at Copenhagen Business School about Chinese, Islamic and western culture. The lecture is free.

HEC Paris and Stockholm School of Economics are helping to organise a European conference on household finance. Find out how household finance behaviour is influenced by other choices, government policies and the overall economic environment. The conference will run for two days.
