Paul André is professor in accountancy, research director of the KPMG Financial Reporting Centre and co-head of the accounting and management control department.

He teaches financial statement analysis and business valuation on the MBA and various programmes.

His research interests include financial reporting, corporate governance, auditing and mergers and acquisitions. Prof André is also associate editor at the Journal of Business, Finance & Accounting.

Previously, he was a professor at the University of Edinburgh, HEC Montréal, UQAM (Université du Québec à Montréal) and the University of Ottawa. Prof André is also a chartered accountant and has worked for one of the big four auditing firms.
