Sir, In the debate (“Rules of office: a survival guide”, Life & Arts, September 10/11), on tidy versus messy desks, here is my observation gleaned from 35 years of working: those with tidy or empty desks are not necessarily less organised or creative than those of us reigning over apparently disordered chaos, but they are simply tidy-desked people, many of whom find it hard to juggle with illogical/complex situations.
